Here are the top boys basketball performances from the past week of play: 

  • Ronald Jeffrey, New Haven: Added 17 points and dished five assists in New Haven's 70-58 win over U-D Jesuit.​
  • Romeo Weems, New Haven: The DePaul signee scored a game-high 27 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and added five blocks with four assists in a 70-58 win over U-D Jesuit on Saturday. 
  • Brent Wiles, New Haven: Scored 12 points and just missed a double-double with nine rebounds in a win over U-D Jesuit. 
  • Evan Akkashian, Birmingham Roeper: Led Roeper with 14 points on Tuesday night in a 53-34 win over Farber Hewbrew Day School.
  • Kenjuan Andrews, Old Redford Academy: Scored 23 points in a loss to Walled Lake Northern. 
  • Caleb Bates, St. Clair Shores Lake Shore: Led his team with a double-double of 20 points and 15 rebounds, while making five blocks in a 68-47 win over Southlake. 
  • Jalal Baydoun, Edsel Ford: Had a big season-opening night with 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals in his team's 51-43 win over Garden City. 
  • Jordan Benson, Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood: The senior scored 14 points in a win over Lamphere on Tuesday. 
  • Jon Brantley, Birmingham Brother Rice: Earned game MVP honors in a 63-35 win over Walled Lake Central as part of the Oakland Invitational. He scored 23 points in the effort. 
  • Austin Brown, Madison Heights Madison: Scored a total of 44 points this week in two games (31 vs. Bishop Foley and 13 against Sterling Heights). 
  • Rodgerick Campbell, Dearborn Heights Annapolis: Put in 14 points and had seven rebounds in his team's 48-44 win over Riverview on Tuesday.
  • Rian Downey, Grosse Pointe South: Recorded a double-double of 13 points and 10 assists in a win over Anchor Bay. 
  • Julian Dozier, U-D Jesuit: Scored 16 points in a loss to New Haven Saturday, 70-58.  
  • Donovan Freeman, River Rouge: It was a dominant night for River Rouge in a 85-25 win over Osborn on Tuesday. Freeman led the way with 27 points, seven rebounds and five assists. 
  • De'Jon Gantz, Warren Mott: Led all scorers in Tuesday's 56-38 win over Rochester with 20 points. 
  • Jon Gardner, Birmingham Roeper: Scored 13 points in his team's season-opening win. 
  • Corey Gulledge, Rochester: Led the team with 13 points in a season-opening loss to Warren Mott. 
  • Linden Holder, Warren De La Salle: Led the Pilots with 17 points in a 57-36 win over Pontiac Notre Dame Prep on Tuesday. 
  • Daryl Houston, Grosse Pointe South: Led the way with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds in a 68-55 win over Anchor Bay. 
  • Cam Hudson, Detroit Loyola: Led his team with 12 points, six rebounds and five steals in a 64-46 win over St. Clair Shores South Lake.
  • Da'Jion Humphre, Southfield Christian: Led his team with 23 points and eight rebounds in a loss to Southfield Arts & Technology. 
  • Avery Ishmail, Dearborn Heights Annapolis: Scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds in his team's 48-44 win over Riverview on Tuesday. 
  • Jamel Johnson, Romulus Summit Academy North: Scored 12 points to help lead his team past Monroe Jefferson in the season opener. 
  • Rob Johnson, West Bloomfield: Scored 21 points in a win over Warren Woods Tower. 
  • Deantoine Jones, Detroit University Prep Science & Math: Led his team with 14 points in a 61-53 win over Detroit Collegiate Prep on Tuesday.
  • Will Jonson, Grosse Pointe South: Scored 14 points in G.P. South's win over Anchor Bay.
  • Troy Lattimore, Walled Lake Northern: Led his team with 26 points in a 73-54 win over Old Redford Academy. 
  • Isaiah Lewis, Wayne Memorial: Had a big night offensively and defensively with 14 points, five rebounds and eight steals in a win over Redford Union. 
  • Orlando Lovejoy, Romulus Summit Academy North: Scored an eye-popping 39 points and added eight steals and six assists in a 73-52 win over Monroe Jefferson. 
  • Alonzo Magee, Detroit University Prep Science & Math: Recorded a double-double of 10 points and 11 steals in a win over Detroit Collegiate Prep on Tuesday.
  • A.J. Massucci, Royal Oak Shrine: Led his team with 16 points in a 56-34 win over Sterling Heights Parkway Christian.
  • Mark Mayberry, Detroit Loyola: Scores 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a win over St. Clair Shores South Lake.
  • Cameorn McEvans, Southfield Arts & Technology: Led all scorers with 34 points in an 81-77 win over Southfield Christian. 
  • Malik Miner, St. Clair Shores Lake Shore: Had a big night with 20 points, five assists and five rebounds in a win over Southlake. 
  • Donovan Moore, West Bloomfield: Paved the way in a 77-60 win over Warren Woods Tower with 29 points. 
  • DeSean Munson, Ann Arbor Skyline: Added 15 points in a win over Novi. 
  • Draeyon O'Neal, Wayne Memorial: Scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 67-38 win over Redford Union. 
  • Brody Parker, Troy: Led the way with 27 points in Troy's 58-45 win over Birmingham Seaholm. 
  • Micah Parrish, River Rouge: Helped his team's winning effort with 11 points and five rebounds. 
  • Andre Price, Walled Lake Northern: Added 22 points for Northern in a win over Old Redford Academy. 
  • De'Ovion Price, St. Clair: Scored 12 points in his team's 54-37 win over Port Huron on Tuesday. 
  • Noah Rheker, Southfield Christian: Scored 15 points and added six assists in an 81-77 loss over Southfield Arts & Technology. 
  • KeJuan Sanders, Detroit Community: Scored 15 points to lead help his team defeat Detroit Southeastern, 78-44. 
  • Michael Sherman, Warren  De La Salle: Added 13 points for the Pilots in Tuesday's win over Notre Dame Prep.
  • Alex Siegfried, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep: Led his team with 24 points in a loss Tuesday against Warren De La Salle.
  • Vinson Sigmon, Canton: Led all scorers with 27 points and five assists in a 69-66 loss to Detroit Edison PSA. 
  • Trevor Smith Jr., Stoney Creek: Scored 13 points in a 68-45 win over Uthica Ford. 
  • Nate Talbot, Lake Orion: The senior led his team with 14 points on Friday in a win over Rochester Adams, 51-41. On Tuesday, he scored 21 points while grabbing 12 rebounds and adding five blocks in a win over Avondale. 
  • Jalen Terry, Flint Beecher: Led the way with 34 points in a season-opening 77-74 win over Detroit Renaissance on Tuesday. 
  • Kenneth Thornton, Detroit Community: Scored 14 points in a win over Detroit Southeastern. 
  • Ryan Wade, Ann Arbor Skyline: Led all scorers in a 72-39 win over Novi with 22 points. 
  • Josh Warren, Woodhaven: Led Woodhaven with 12 points in a 46-39 win over Saline. 
  • Richard Washington, Clintondale: Paced Clintondale with 18 points, seven rebounds, six steals and five assists in a 62-50 win over Royal Oak Shrine. 
  • Jalen Wesson, Madison Heights Madison: Recorded a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Bishop Foley. 
  • Torrell Williams, Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood: Scored 14 points in his team's win on tuesday against Lamphere. 
  • Rayvon Williamson, Detroit Community: Scored 26 points to lead his team past Detroit Southeastern. 
  • Darius Willis, Warren Mott: Added 12 points in Tuesday's season-opening win over Rochester. 
  • Griffen Yaklich, Saline: Scored 22 of Saline's 39 points in a loss to Woodhaven.
