​The Details:

Romeo became the first player in the history of Macomb County to win the Mr Basketball award becoming the states 39th winner . He did it in record breaking fashion accumulating 3,689 points with 653 1st place votes which is 375 more 1st place votes than the other 3 finalist combined. It was the widest margin of victory in the history of the Michigan Mr Basketball award surpassing the 1,457 point margin held by the 2016 winner Michigan State All-American Cassius Winston.
